Important informations:

Admission Requirements

ICT Prague admits foreign student to its bachelor degree programmes in a foreign language, providing that applicants have completed secondary education at a level equivalent to Czech secondary education, and possess the required qualifications. An applicant is asked to provide along with the application form a transcript of records from his/her secondary studies (chemistry and mathematics are essential). An admission examination may be required, especially in chemistry and mathematics.

ICT Prague admits foreign student to its master´s degree programmes in a foreign language, providing that applicants are able to prove that they have achieved a bachelor´s degree in a related field of study at a university equivalent to the level of a Czech university. An admission examination may be required.

ICT Prague admits foreign students to its doctoral programmes in a foreign language, providing that applicants are able to prove that they have achieved a master´s degree in either the same or a related field of study at a university equivalent to the level of a Czech university (i.e. M.Sc. or M.A.). An applicant may be required to pass an admission interview.

Application Procedure

Application procedure takes place during May.

In order for an application to be considered complete, the applicant must send official documents, translated in English, if in any other language, certified or verifiable supporting paper documents. The required documents include:

  1. Certified and stamped translation of documents proving the level of education together with a Transcript of records (These must be copies of the original documents which have been stamped by the educational institute and  translated into English by an official translator, where applicable.)
  2. Letter of motivation
  3. Signed Curriculum Vitae.
  4. Certified translation of Birth Certificate or other document providing evidence of date and place of birth.
  5. Recent Health certificate (not older than 2 months) issued by an official health institution
  6. Required field of scientific study or theme of dissertation  for doctoral (PhD.) study
  7. Certified list of publications or prior application for doctoral (PhD.) study

All enclosures and documentation must be written in English.
ICT Prague reserves the right to refuse an Application provided all the above-mentioned enclosures are not delivered and are not in the required form and style

OFFICIAL ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS are:

Official transcript of ALL courses/classes and grades/marks for secondary and post-secondary school or all university level work completed at the time of your application. Academic documents such as diplomas and transcripts of course work completed (Transcripts of Records) are extremely important for your admission to ICT Prague and for our faculty to provide assistance and advice on degree programme at ICT Prague. These documents must be original or (copy of them) certified/notarized and must be accompanied with a translation into English (also certified/notarized), if in any other language.

Studies in the English/Czech language

A student may study at ICT Prague in the English or the Czech language.

Studies in the Czech language 

Studies in Czech is free of charge.

Students who wish to study in Czech should apply through the Department of Education ("Pedagogicke oddeleni"): ped@vscht.cz.

Non-Czech students wishing to study in Czech pass through the same admission procedure as Czech students, and must submit a Czech language certificate proving the necessary Czech language skills. More information is available on the ICT website in Czech version.

Application deadline is March 31st.

Students who wish to attain a high level of proficiency in the Czech language that would permit to undertake studies at the university level conducted in the Czech language can take part in the Czech language courses run by the Institute of Language and Professional Training of the Charles University in Prague.

Studies in the English language:

Students who wish to study in English should apply through the Department of International Relations.

Application deadline is April 30th.

Students are required to settle the relevant tuition fee (after his/her arrival during an enrolment week)

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for self-financing students registered for studies in English in the Academic year 2013/2014
Bachelor and Master´s degree programme125 000,- CZK
Doctoral programme125 000,- CZK

Fees are due within 5 calendar days of enrolment. The date of payment is deemed to be the date that the amount is credited to the account of ICT Prague.

Enrolment process

During an enrolment week prior to the start of the semester students officially enrol in their classes after they sign a Study Agreement at the Office of International Relations and consequently submit an evidence of tuition fee´s payment.
University policy states that the fee must be paid before a student is enrolled (a registration of courses is made). A money order (bank payment order) is the best option for payment.
