6th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA 2013)
will be held on 5–8 November 2013, in Clarion Congress Hotel Prague, Prague, Czech Republic. RAFA is leading conference in advances in food analysis. The 2013 symposium will be organised again with the emphasis on advanced analytical & bioanalytical technologies and food analysis applications related to food security, food quality and safety and food integrity, being presented by leading scientists through keynote lectures and contributed oral and poster presentations. The conference programme will be tailored to provide a lot of opportunities for networking as well as exploration of the latest results of the food analysis community. International Conference New Perspectives in Science Education
“Our vision is to inspire and motivate our children to achieve their full potential in the fields of science, technology, medicine and engineering.”
The second edition of the international conference New Perspectives in Science Education took place on 14 and 15 March 2013 in a beautiful Italian city Florence. Its aim was to promote transnational cooperation and innovation in science education, opportunity to present results of the projects in science field, share good practice and find partners for new projects and collaboration. >>>

Project INTEC started!
ICT Prague hosted kick-off meeting of the project INTEC executed under the EU Seventh Framework Programme. The main scope of this project is to explore the utilisation of photocatalyst indicator inks in a CEN standard for the rapid testing of the activities of various different self-cleaning surfaces, including: glass, tiles, paints, fabrics and concrete. On the INTEC project participate ICT Prague, Queen's University Belfast, Dublin Institute of Technology, Aalborg University, Cristal Pigment UK Limited and VitrA Ireland Ltd.

Innovative Learning in Chemistry at ICT Prague
The second partners meeting of the project Chemistry is all around Network (CIAA Network) http://chemistrynetwork.pixel-online.org/, was held in the premises of the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague on the 3rd and 4th December 2012. The project CIAA Network is funded by the European Lifelong Learning Program COMENIUS and is carried out by an international consortium of researchers and teachers from eleven European countries. The aim of the project is to attract primary and secondary pupils to study chemistry, assist teachers to become familiar with new scientific knowledge in the field of chemistry, learn new teaching methods and find easily modern teaching materials. >>

Introduction to Vibrational Spectroscopy
On 14 to 18 March 2011 will be held at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, ICT Prague an international course Introduction to Vibrational Spectroscopy (VibSpec) added to the European program ATHENS for students of technical universities.
Course is attended by 14 students from Belgium, France, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
