1990-1994 Postgraduate study – Institute of Microbiology, Czech Academy of Sciences, defendation of PhD thesis – ICT Prague (PhD).
1994 Interpharma Prague, Department of Microbiology (Faculty Hospital) Prague.
1994-1995 Assistant ICT Prague, Department of Fermentation Chemistry and Bioengineering.
1995-2012 Assistant professor ICT Prague, Department of Fermentation Chemistry and Bioengineering.
since 2012 Associate Professor in the field of Biotechnology, ICT Prague.

Teaching Activity

Lectures: Hygiene and Safety in Microbiology (100%), Traditional biotechnology (50%), Biotechnology in Food Industry (30%), Technology of Food I (25%).
Supervision of Technology Laboratory works and Laboratory Practice in Biotechnology.
Supervisor of BSc, MSc and PhD theses (also of foreign ERASMUS students).

Current Research Topics

Production of biofuels by fermentation (1-butanol, ethanol), evaluation of physiological state of microoorganisms, cultivation techniques.
