Postgraduate Courses
The Department of Glass and Ceramics is a joint participant with other materials departments in the PhD course in Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials. Special lectures are given at advanced level followed by examinations. The PhD degree is awarded on the basis of a thesis (written dissertation) and a rigorous examination held at the end of 3-years postgraduate studies. Dissertations are mostly of an experimental nature and are in accordance with current research activities of the Department.
