The Department of Glass and Ceramics
In a building constructed for the Faculty in 1933 the Department occupies about 1250 square meters. It is located within the Dejvice area of technical faculties, about 10 minutes by metro from the center of Prague. The students of the Institute of Chemical Technology number more than 2000 full-time undergraduates studying at 4 Faculties:
- Faculty of Chemical Technology
- Faculty of Chemical Engineering
- Faculty of Foods and Biochemical Technology
- Faculty of Environmental Protection Technology
The Department of Glass and Ceramics cooperates closely with the Departments of Polymers, Metals and Corrosion Engineering, Materials for Electronics and with the Department of Solid State Chemistry, all of which belong to the same Faculty.
