Summary

The course is concerned to complex information of analytical metods in the care of historical monuments, thouse combination, determination methods for nondestructive and destructive analysis, practical informations of good laboratory practise, interpretation of analytical data. Very important is knowledge of material technology.

Syllabus

1. Possibility of analytical chemistry in survay of objects of cultural heritage.
2. Documentation, sampling, distribution analysis, relations between sample and analytical method
3. Emision and absorption spectroscopy
4. RTG spectroscopie, XRF
5. Photoelectron spectroscopy, ESCA, PIXE.
6. X Ray diffraction.
7. Atomic spectroscopy, UV/VIS spectroscopy.
8. Luminiscence spectroscopy.
9. Molecular spektroscopy.
10. FTIR and IR microscopy.
11. Ramanova spectroscopy and microscopy.
12. NMR spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy.
13. Chromatography.
14. Activation analysis, methods of dating.
