Chemistry Meets Biology brought together chemists and biologists from Prague institutions

On Thursday, 24 September, the first Chemistry Meets Biology networking event took place at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. The event aimed to bring together the chemistry and biology communities and create opportunities for new connections and collaboration.

The event was initiated and jointly organised by Pavla Perlíková from UCT Prague and Ondřej Baszczyňski and Jan Černý from the Faculty of Science, Charles University. Around 50 participants from Prague-based research institutions contributed to an open and inspiring atmosphere, with opportunities to present their work, discuss shared research interests and explore potential collaborations.

Positive feedback from participants confirmed the value of this type of networking event, and Chemistry Meets Biology will therefore return in the future.
