The MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund
The MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund supports emerging collaborations between researchers from Czech research institutions and universities and their partners at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The program was established in 2021 in collaboration with MIT, the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS (IOCB Prague), and IOCB Tech. Since 2022, it has been funded by the IOCB Tech Foundation with $100,000 annually.
Each year, the fund supports 3 to 5 new projects with up to $25,000 each. The funds can be used for travel and accommodation expenses during working meetings and research fellowships—covering a phase of collaboration that standard grants usually do not cover.
